Trust
Four promises. No fine print.
Most rate-comparison sites are slow, popup-ridden, or quietly biased toward whoever paid them this month. We built HYSA Compare to be the opposite. Here is exactly how. 18 U.S. high-yield savings accounts. Zero tricks.
Where the rates come from
Every APY on this site is scraped directly from the bank's own published rate disclosure page once per day. We do not republish rates we did not verify ourselves, and we do not rely on aggregator feeds.
For banks whose rate page does not expose the headline APY in scrapeable text (a small number of major issuers do this), we hand-verify the rate against the bank's marketing copy and a second independent source, and stamp the entry with a verification date.
You can audit our pipeline live at /api/status, which returns a JSON document showing the freshness of every product in the dataset.
How we make money
HYSA Compare is supported by affiliate referral fees. When you click an “Open account” link on a bank's page and subsequently open an account, the bank may pay us a one-time referral fee. We disclose this on every page that contains an affiliate link.
Our editorial rankings are not influenced by these payments. We rank by today's verified APY first, then by features, fees, and account terms. A bank cannot pay to appear higher in our lists, and several of our highest-ranked accounts pay us nothing at all.
Editorial independence
Our editorial team has full authority over rankings, ratings, and written reviews. No bank previews or approves any content before publication. We re-rate every product whenever its APY moves more than 10 basis points or its fee structure changes.
Corrections
Found a stale rate, an incorrect FDIC certificate, or a factual error in a review? Email corrections@hysacompare.com and we will investigate within one business day. We log every correction we make and publish a monthly summary.
What we are not
HYSA Compare is not a bank, broker, or financial advisor. We do not hold your deposits or move money on your behalf. Nothing on this site constitutes personalized financial advice. APYs are variable and subject to change at any time — always confirm the current rate on the bank's own site before opening an account.
